3.2 COMMON DANGEROUS
SITUATIONS
WARNING: CRUSHING
HAZARD!
• Make sure no-one comes between
the machine and the tractor (Fig.
10), especially when the latter is run-
ning; any accidental movement of
the tractor or sharp steering means
the person risks being dragged
or crushed by the machinery. The
resulting injuries can be extremely
serious.
• Before setting off with the irrigator,
make sure no-one is underneath the
machine (Fig. 11), who unbeknown to
the tractor driver, may be carrying out
maintenance operations, cleaning or
adjusting the machine or carrying
out repairs or replacements etc., this
person is exposed to serious crush-
ing hazards: should the tractor driver
inadvertently set off, the person is
likely to sustain serious injuries. As
well as checking to make sure there
are no persons under the machine,
make sure there are no obstacles
or foreign objects (e.g.: tools, jacks,
etc.) which could jeopardize machine
safety.
• When reversing, take great care that
there is nobody behind the machine.
Reversing into a person could ex-
pose them to the risk of contusion
(from contact with the frame) or col-
lision/dragging, which could lead to
serious injury (Fig. 12).

3.2 SITUACIONES DE
PELIGRO MÁS COMUNES
¡ATENCIÓN! ¡PELIGRO DE
APLASTAMIENTO!
• Asegúrese de que no se meta nadie
entre la máquina y el tractor (Fig. 10),
sobretodo si el tractor está encendi-
do; cualquier movimiento accidental
del tractor, un giro de volante brusco,
expondría a la persona a un grave
riesgo de arrastre y aplastamiento,
con consecuencias que podrían ser
graves.
• Antes de ponerse en marcha con
la máquina, asegúrese de que, sin
que usted lo sepa, no haya bajo la
máquina algún operador (Fig. 11)
realizando actuaciones de manteni-
miento, de limpieza, de regulación,
de sustitución, etc., ya que la persona
en cuestión se vería expuesta a un
grave riesgo de aplastamiento de las
extremidades, con consecuencias
que podrían ser graves. Además de
comprobar que no haya nadie bajo
la máquina, asegúrese también de
que no haya cuerpos extraños (p.ej.:
herramientas, gatos elevadores,
etc.), que podrían comprometer la
seguridad de la máquina.
• En caso de que necesite avanzar
marcha atrás, preste la máxima
atención a que no haya personas
detrás de la máquina, ya que se
encontrarían expuestas a un riesgo
de contusión (por el contacto con
la estructura) o atropello/arrastre
con las consiguientes lesiones, que
podrían ser graves (Fig. 12).
