5.5 CHECKING THE CONNEC-
TION WITH THE TRACTOR
• Make sure there is no one standing
within 5 metres from the machine, start
up the tractor engine and then try to
activate the various movements with
the distributor levers.
• Ensuring correct insertion of the pins
and relative shear pins.
• In case of abnormal movements of your
machine or lack of control of initial move-
ments with the tractor, stop immediately
and repeat the connecting phase from
the beginning.
• After this check, work can begin.
5.6 TRANSPORT ON
PUBLIC ROADS
If necessary, the machine can be tran-
sported on the roads while hitched to the
tractor. The operator must check, compare
and adapt the implement so that it fully
complies with the Highway Code in force
in the country of use.
Bear in mind the following recommen-
dations:
• Comply with the instructions in this
manual when you hitch the machine to
the tractor.
• The machine must remain blocked and
raised from the ground during transport.
• You must take all possible precautions
and comply with the pertinent laws in or-
der to safeguard yourselves and others.
• Projecting parts and those beyond the
width of the tractor must be fitted with
the relative protections.
• The entire implement must be equipped
with its own lighting system complete
with flashing lights and indicators.
• Warning boards to indicate the project-
ing parts of the implement must be
affixed where necessary.

5.5 VERIFICACIÓN DEL
ENGANCHE AL TRACTOR
• Asegúrese de nuevo de que no haya
personas a menos de 5 metros de
la máquina, encienda el motor de su
tractor y pruebe a accionar los distin-
tos movimientos con las palancas del
distribuidor.
• Controle que los pernos y las corres-
pondientes clavijas de seguridad están
bien introducidos.
• Si advierte movimientos anómalos de
su máquina o falta de control en los
primeros movimientos con el tractor
párese de inmediato y repita la fase de
enganche desde el principio.
• Después de haber finalizado este con-
trol se puede iniciar el trabajo.
5.6 CIRCULACION POR
CARRETERA
Si es necesario la máquina se podrá trans-
portar en carretera enganchada al tractor;
el operador debe controlar, confrontar y
adecuar el implemento para lograr la plena
conformidad con las Normas del Código
de Circulación del país de empleo.
Se deberá recordar en particular:
• Para el enganche de la máquina con
el tractor es necesario seguir las ins-
trucciones expuestas en el presente
manual.
• Durante el transporte es necesario man-
tener la máquina bloqueada y elevada
del terreno.
• Es obligatorio el respeto de las normas
de seguridad para proteger la propia
incolumnidad y la de otras personas,
adoptando todas las precauciones
posibles.
• Deben preverse protecciones para los
elementos salientes y que superen el
gálibo del vehículo.
• El implemento deberá contar con una
instalación de iluminación propia con
elementos de señalización y luz inter-
mitente.
• En los casos previstos se deberán
aplicar los carteles de señalización del
gálibo.
• La capacidad de frenado y la dirección
están influenciados por el peso de la
máquina aplicada al elevador del trac-
tor; en las curvas considerar también
la acción de la fuerza centrífuga que
desplaza el baricentro de la máquina.
