Removal
Lift the rubber guard off the negative pole (-) and
disconnect the wire.
Lift the rubber guard off the positive pole (+) and
disconnect the wire.
Lift the battery by means of the handles on the side.
The battery weighs approx. 30 kg and
requires two people to lift it.
When replacing the battery, respect the connection of
the poles as indicated in the Fig. 101.
Starting with an external battery
If you have to start the machine using an external
battery, then it must have the same capacity or greater
than the original one.
When connecting the cables prevent sparks or
explosions by avoiding accidental contact of opposite
poles.
The cables must be suitable for the purpose and if
possible with the terminals welded in order to annul
contact resistance on the clamps.
With the motor of the receiving machine turned off.
• Positive poles connected to each other (+ with +).
• Negative poles connected to each other (- con -).
• Start the motor of the donor machine and run it at a
high speed.
• Start the motor of the disabled machine.
• Once the machine has started, firstly remove the
negative cable (-) and then the positive (+), by firstly
disconnecting the pole of the donor battery and lastly
the discharged battery.

Soulever la protection en caoutchouc du pôle négatif
(-) et débrancher le câble.
Soulever la protection en caoutchouc du pôle positif
(+) et débrancher le câble.
Soulever la batterie en saisissant les poignées
latérales.
La batterie pèse environ 30 kg et deux per-
sonnes sont nécessaires pour la soulever.
Lorsque l'on remplace la batterie, il est nécessaire de
respecter la connexion des pôles, tel que indiqué sur
la Fig. 101.
Mise en marche avec batterie externe
S'il est nécessaire de mettre la machine en marche
avec une batterie externe, celle-ci doit posséder les
mêmes caractéristiques ou être supérieure.
En branchant les câbles éviter le contact accidentel
entre les pôles opposés afin d'éviter toutes étincelles
ou explosions.
Les câbles doivent convenir au but auquel ils sont
destinés et si possible avoir des bornes soudées de
manière à annuler la résistance de contact sur les
pinces.
Moteur de la machine réceptrice éteint.
• Brancher les pôles positifs entre eux (+ avec +).
• Brancher les pôles négatifs entre eux (- avec -).
• Faire démarrer le moteur de la machine donneuse
et le porter à un régime élevé.
• Faire démarrer le moteur de la machine réceptrice.
• Lorsque la machine est en marche, ôter d'abord le
câble négatif (-) puis le câble positif (+) en
débranchant d'abord le pôle de la batterie donneuse
puis ensuite celui de la réceptrice.
