How to lift a load from the ground
Approach the load perpendicularly, with the boom
retracted and the forks in a horizontal position (Fig.
65).
If the forks do not have a side shift (optional), activate
the parking brake, get out of the machine and move
the forks so that they are centred with respect to the
load and the machine (Fig. 66).
Beware of the finger crushing hazard when
moving the forks.
Move slowly forward while lifting the forks.
Insert the forks completely until resting against the load.
Activate the parking brake and shift the gear reverser
lever to neutral (pos. N) (Fig. 67).
Slightly raise the boom and tilt the forks back (carrying
position); tilt the forks back until the load is stable and
can not move forward in the event of a sudden braking
during transportation (Fig. 68).

Comment prélever un chargement au sol
S'approcher perpendiculairement à la charge, avec le
bras rentré et les fourches horizontales (Fig. 65).
Si les fourches ne prévoient pas le déplacement
transversal (en option), actionner le frein de
stationnement, descendre de la machine et déplacer
les fourches de manière à ce qu'elles soient centrées
par rapport à la charge et à la machine (Fig. 66).
Faire attention au risque d'écrasement des
doigts lors du déplacement des fourches.
Avancer lentement avec la machine en levant
légèrement les fourches.
Pénétrer complètement avec les fourches jusqu'à
s'appuyer contre la charge.
Actionner le frein de stationnement et mettre le levier
de l'inverseur de marche au point mort (pos. N) (Fig.
67).
Lever légèrement le bras et incliner les fourches en
arrière (position de transport) ; l'inclinaison des
fourches doit être suffisante pour permettre de
stabiliser la charge en empêchant qu'elle puisse se
déplacer vers l'avant dans le cas de coup de frein
brusque pendant le transport (Fig. 68).
