5.2.2 MOTOR
Opening the bonnet
To open the engine hood pull the lever (1 - Fig. 85) on
the left under the dashboard.
Then lift the hood.
The following operations may be carried out
without removing the side grille.
Checking the oil level
Pull out the dipstick (2 - Fig. 86) and clean the end
with a cloth. Insert the dipstick and pull it out again.
Check the graduated end of the dipstick and ensure
that the oil level is just under the maximum mark (MAX).
See the paragraph on "Replacing oil" for the procedu-
re on how to top up the oil level.
Risk of accidental contact with hot
surfaces.
Replacing motor oil
Open the inlet cap (3 - Fig. 87).
Unscrew the drain plug (4) on the bottom of the motor,
under the alternator.
Risk of accidental contact with hot
surfaces.
Do not dispose of waste oil in the
environment! Comply with European
community laws on the disposal of waste
oils.

5.2.2 MOTEUR
Ouverture du capot du moteur
Pour ouvrir le capot du moteur, il faut tirer avec force
sur le levier (1 - Fig. 85) qui se trouve en bas et à
gauche du tableau de bord. Puis, soulever le capot.
Les opérations suivantes peuvent être
effectuées avec la grille latérale montée.
Contrôle du niveau de l'huile
Soulever la tige flexible (2 - Fig. 86) et nettoyer
l'extrémité avec un chiffon, réintroduire la tige dans le
logement et l'ôter à nouveau.
Observer l'extrémité graduée de la tige et veiller à ce
que le niveau de l'huile soit juste sous le niveau
maximum (MAX). Pour ajouter de d'huile consulter le
paragraphe "Remplacement de l'huile".
Risque de contact accidentel avec les
surfaces chaudes.
Remplacement de l'huile du moteur
Ouvrir le bouchon d'entrée (3 - Fig. 87).
Dévisser le bouchon de drainage (4) situé à la base
du moteur, sous l'alternateur.
Risque de contact accidentel avec les
surfaces chaudes.
Ne pas répandre l'huile de vidange dans
l'environnement, s'en défaire de manière
conforme aux prescriptions des lois
communautaires.
