3.3.1 SEAT BELTS
• It is important to keep seat belts fastened
at all times to avoid being thrown out of
the cab and squashed if the machine
should overturn.
• The belt is correctly adjusted when is sits
firmly across the hips and does not
restrict any movements required for
driving.
• Using the belt increases the sensation
and level of operator safety and reduces
the risk of accidents.
3.3.2 EMERGENCY EXIT
The rear window is also the emergency exit; the sticker
applied to the window signals this function.
To open the window completely in case of need, slide
the stop device upwards (1 - Fig. 39) until it comes
out and push the window out with your hand.
Do not open the window completely except
in a real emergency; when it is completely
open the window can interfere with the
angular movement of the telescopic boom
and consequently be a shearing hazard.
3.4
ACTIVE CONTROLS
3.4.1 MOTOR START CONTROL
The engine will not start up unless the gear lever is in
the neutral position (N - Fig. 40).

3.3.1 CEINTURES DE SÉCURITÉ
• Il est important de toujours garder les
ceintures de sécurité accrochées pour
éviter d'être éjecté à l'extérieur et d'être
écrasé en cas de basculement.
• Lorsqu'elle est réglée correctement la
ceinture doit adhérer parfaitement au
bassin sans constituer un obstacle pour
les opérations de conduite.
• L'utilisation de la ceinture augmente le
sens et le niveau de sécurité de l'opé-
rateur et diminue les risques d'accidents.
3.3.2 SORTIE DE SECOURS
La vitre arrière fait également fonction de sortie de
secours; cette fonction est signalée par la décalco-
manie appliquée sur la vitre.
Pour ouvrir complètement la vitre en cas de besoin,
déplacer l'arrêt vers le haut (1 - Fig. 39) et pousser la
vitre vers l'extérieur avec la main.
Ne pas ouvrir complètement la vitre si ce
n'est que en cas de réel besoin; lorsqu'elle
est complètement ouverte la vitre peut
gêner le mouvement angulaire du bras
télescopique et créer également un danger
de cisaillement.
3.4
CONTRÔLES ACTIFS
3.4.1 CONTRÔLE DE MISE EN MARCHE DU
MOTEUR
Le moteur ne démarre pas si le levier de commande
des vitesses n'est pas en position de point mort (N -
Fig. 40).
