HOW TO MOVE A LOAD
Load weight and centre of gravity
• Do not lift and carry a load that exceeds
the rated capacity of the vehicle or the
accessory.
• Before lifting the load check its weight
and centre of gravity.
• The load chart for your machine refers to
lifting a load with the forks, with the centre
of gravity at 500 mm (1,64 ft ) from the L-
angle of the fork; if the load to be lifted
has a barycentre which is out of all
proportion, contact the manufacturer
through
the
information.
• If by its very nature the load has a chan-
ging barycentre, such as a liquid for
example, extra care must be taken with
the movements as obviously a definite
rule cannot be established
• Act according to your experience or ask
for advice; if you do not feel safe, do not
carry the product.
Transporting a load
• Check that you have selected the steering type re-
quired.
• Retract the boom completely.
• Lift the boom and rotate the accessory holder back-
wards in order to lift the load to 300 mm (1 ft) from
the ground.
• Shift the load with the machine in low gear.
It is prohibited to transport loads on public
roads.

The maximum slopes that must not be exceeded while
transporting a load are indicated in the figure on the
right.

DÉPLACER UNE CHARGE
Poids du chargement et centre de gravité
• Ne pas soulever et transporter de charge-
ments qui dépassent les capacités no-
minales de la machine ou de l'accessoire.
• Avant de soulever le chargement contrô-
ler son poids et son centre de gravité.
• Le diagramme de charge de votre machi-
ne concerne le levage d'un chargement
avec les fourches, dont le centre de
gravité se trouve à 500 mm du talon des
fourches; dans le cas où le chargement à
soulever aurait un barycentre outre
mesure, s'adresser au constructeur à
travers le réseau de vente pour plus
d'informations à ce sujet.
• Si de par sa nature le chargement a un
barycentre mobile, par exemple un liqui-
de, étant donné qu'aucune règle précise
ne peut être établie, il est nécessaire
d'effectuer les mouvements avec une
grande prudence.
• Se baser sur sa propre expérience ou se
faire conseiller; si vous n'êtes pas sûr de
vous, n'effectuer pas le transport.
Transport de la charge
• S'assurer d'avoir sélectionné le type de braquage
désiré.
• Rentrer complètement le bras.
• Soulever le bras et tourner le porte-accessoires en
arrière de manière à soulever la charge à 300 mm
du sol.
• Transporter la charge en utilisant la vitesse lente.
Il est interdit de transporter des charges
sur les routes publiques.
Transport de la charge en pente
Les inclinaisons maximum à ne pas dépasser lors du
transport d'une charge sont indiquées sur la figure ci-
contre.
