This stitchis usedforfinishing in stretchfabricsedgesor in cloths
which need more elasticity, such assleeves, collar, sweaters and
swimsuits.
RECOMMENDED
Pattern:Overedge (right) stitch
Stitch width: Variable
Foot: Specialpurpose presserfoot(J )
1. Turn the stitch length dial to the position of flexible stitch
patterns (light blue mark).
2. Placefabric under presser foot.
3. Adjust stitch width in a way that the right stitch is insidethe
fabric and the left ones are placed on the fabric. This
procedure will allowthatthe edge ofthe fabric be involved by
the thread.
4. When sewing, use flexible stitch adjustment selector, turning
itto the right or left in order to obtain the visual effect desired.
