1. Turnhandwheel until the needle isin its highestpositionand
liftthe presserfoot.
2. Open the slideplate.
3. Slidefeed cover on top of needle plate pressingtabs(A) and
(B) into holes.
4. Close side plate.
5. To remove, open slide plate and lift front edge ofcover pull it
away
6. Bringthread upthrough the hole ofthefeed cover, following
the sameprocedure aswhen passing the thread or changi n g
bobbin.
