RECALIBRATION
From experience, it is expected that the oscilloscope operates within its specification for a period of at least
1000 hours, or for six months if used infrequently.
In addition, replacement of components may necessitate recalibration of the affected circuits. The checking
and adjusting procedure can also be helpful in localising certain troubles in the instrument.
In some cases, minor troubles may be revealed and/or corrected by recalibration.
Complete checking and adjusting instructions are given in the Checking & Adjusting Section (Section 5 of the
Service Manual). If only partial calibration is performed, refer to the interaction chart.
