Setting the metering capacity (mechanical)

The metering capacity is adjustable by means of mechanical stroke adjustment between
100 % and 30 % of the pump's rated capacity (reproducible accuracy can no longer be
guaranteed below 30 %).
The adjustment is made via the stroke adjusting button (pos. 1) and can only be
performed while the metering pump is in operation.
The entire adjusting range is split into two 360° anticlockwise turns of the stroke adjusting
button.
The range between 100 % and 50 % is set with the first 360° turn, and the range between
50 % and 0 % is set with the second 360° turn.
The current range can be read on the vernier scale (pos. 3). The adjusting button marking
(pos. 2) indicates the precise % value which is currently set.
If you are currently in the 100 %- 50 % setting range, 50 must be added to the current
value on the adjusting button marking.
Example:
Pos. 1: 'Range on the vernier scale:'
100 – 50 %
Pos. 2: 'Adjusting button marking setting: '
30 %
Pos. 3: 'Current value:'
30 + 50 = 80 %
NOTICE!
The pump capacity has to be calibrated in order to determine the metering
capacity accurately (
