Anti condensation heaters
Heating elements are recommended
if the motor operates in an environ-
ment with varying temperatures and
high humidity. The temperature of
the motor should always be at least
5 °C above the ambient temperature
in order to eliminate the risk of
condensation. The heating elements
should be activated when the motor
is turned off.
The normal supply is 1 phase, 220 V
AC. Other voltage on request.
Transparent inspection covers
All types of DMI motors can be fitted
with inspection covers with transpar-
ent vision panels for convenient
inspection of brush length and com-
mutation.
Painting
The standard DMI is painted with a
two-component paint, which is oven
cured. This standard coat consists of
a thick layer of paint with excellent
corrosion resistance properties. It has
good mechanical strength and resists
the effects of weather, mineral oils
and most chemicals.
The paint withstands humid environ-
ments, for example, tropical climates.
The standard colour of the motors is
blue according to Munsell 8B 4.5/
3.25.

Réchauffeurs anti-condensation
Des éléments de chauffage sont
recommandés si le moteur fonc-
tionne dans un environnement à
température variable et humidité
élevée. La température du moteur
doit toujours être au moins 5 °C au-
dessus de la température ambiante
afin d'éliminer le risque de conden-
sation. Les éléments chauffants ne
doivent être mis en circuit que quand
le moteur est mis à l'arrêt.
L'alimentation normale est monopha-
sée, 220 V a.c. Autres tensions dispo-
nibles sur demande.
Couvercles d'inspection
transparents
Tous les types de moteurs DMI
peuvent être munis de couvercles
d'inspection avec hublot transparent
facilitant le contrôle de la longueur
des balais et de la commutation.
Peinture
Le DMI standard est recouvert d'une
peinture à deux composants et pas-
sée au four. La couche de finition
standard consiste d'une épaisse
couche de peinture aux excellentes
propriétés de résistance à la corro-
sion. Elle possède une excellente
force mécanique et une bonne résis-
tance aux intempéries, aux huiles
minérales et à la plupart des pro-
duits chimiques.
La peinture supporte les environne-
ments humides, par exemple celui
des climats tropicaux. La couleur
standard des moteurs est le bleu
selon Munsell 8B 4.5/3.25.

Stillstandsheizung
Heizelemente empfehlen sich bei
Motorbetrieb in Umgebungen mit
wechselnden Temperaturen und
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit. Die Tempera-
tur des Motors sollte immer wenig-
stens 5 °C über der Umgebungs-
temperatur liegen, um die Bildung
von Kondenswasser zu verhindern.
Die Heizelemente sollen bei Abschal-
tung des Motors eingeschaltet wer-
den.
Die normale Speisung ist 220 V, 1
Phase Wechselstrom.
Transparente Inspektionsfenster
Alle DMI-Motoren können mit trans-
parenten Inspektionsfenstern verse-
hen werden, die eine einfach Über-
wachung der Bürstenlänge und
Kommutierung ermöglichen.
Anstrich
Der Standard DMI-Motor ist mit
Zweikomonentenlack gestrichen, der
eingebrannt wird. Der Standard-
farbanstrich verleiht der DMI-
Maschine ausgezeichneten Koro-
sionsschutz. Er besitzt gute mecha-
nische Festigkeit, ist wetterbeständig
und verträgt Mineralöl und die meisten
Chemikalien.
Das Lacksystem ist gut geeignet für
feuchte Atmosphäre, z. B. in tropi-
schem Klima. Der Standardfarbton
des Anstrichs ist graublau und ent-
spricht Munsell 8B 4.5/3.25.
