JACKING THE VEHICLE FOR SERVICE

Improper jacking and support methods can cause structural damage that result in loss of vehicle
control, severe personal injury or death. Refer to the vehicle manufacturer for proper jacking and
support methods.
SUB-FRAME
WARNING

Do not weld repair any cracks on sub-frame. Do not use a cutting torch. The use of heat on
suspension components will adversely affect the strength of these parts. A component damaged
in this manner can result in the loss of vehicle control and possible personnal injury or property
damage.
BRAKE LININGS
WARNING
!
Brake linings are free of asbestos. However, usual individual protection are strongly recomended
(Mask, gloves). Use vaccum cleaner to remove dust around linings. Do not blow.
DAMAGED COMPONENTS REPLACEMENT
WARNING
!
All damaged components must be replaced by new components.
