9. Connect the required media from the respective trolley to
the corresponding couplings in the MFC 7000.
Water supply
If necessary, water drainage
If necessary, compressed air supply
If necessary, power supply
If necessary, air supply
10. When washing LDV, open the compressed air supply via
the shut-off valve and supply the LDV with compressed air.
Then check that all LDV are deactivated. No air must be
allowed to escape via the LDV.
11. Then close the compressed air supply again. The pressure
is maintained during the washing process.
12. Check that the items being cleaned are positioned correctly
on the trolley.
13. Close the door or doors.
14. In plants with two doors for the black area and the white
area, there is a signal light in the white area which indicates
the following:
Green: no wash procedure active or wash procedure
successfully completed
Red: Wash procedure active
Flashing red: Error during running wash procedure
4.3.1
Touchscreen
The MFC 7000 is operated via the touchscreen. The touch-
screen has two authorization levels:
Admin: Can only be operated by trained and authorized
users
Operator: Can be operated by trained users
In the following, the key assignment below the touchscreen is
explained.

4.3.2
Main menu
After successful login, the main menu opens. The following
selection options are available:

Program
The program library with the pre-installed and

Information
Under information, the Admin can view the
program counter and the operating time (see
chapter 4.3.6).
Settings
In the settings, the Admin can change the
plant mode, the date, and the time.
Additionally, the Admin and the Operator can
log in or out and change the language (see
chapter 4.3.7).
4.3.3
Starting a new wash procedure
A new menu opens as soon as the Start new wash procedure
button has been operated.
NOTICE
If no Dräger Service detergent/disinfectant has been selected,
the pre-installed wash procedures will be grayed out and
cannot be selected.
