Operation
Procedure for SCBA
1. Park the frame for SCBA and helmets in a readily acces-
sible area.
2. Place the pressurized SCBA loaded with the compressed
air cylinder intended for cleaning on the mounting plate
provided for this purpose.
Load the frame evenly and from bottom to top. This helps
to keep the frame stable.
3. Make sure that no belt, hose or other accessories hang
down from the frame.
4. To ensure that the best possible cleaning can be achieved,
the waist belts must not lie across one another. The waist
belts must be arranged laterally offset.
5. Check whether there is pressure at the pressure gauge.
Place the pressure gauge upright in the mount provided.
To do so, carefully place the hose in the clamps provided.
Preparation of helmets
NOTICE
Follow the helmet instructions for use and, if necessary,
contact the manufacturer.
Prepare the helmet in accordance with the associated
washing approval. Remove the neck guard.
Additional equipment not intended for washing must be
removed.
Remove the side holders on the frame on each tier that is
used for washing with the 4 knurled screws per holder and
fit them in the outermost position on the respective tier.
Procedure for helmets
1. Park the frame for SCBA and helmets in a readily acces-
sible area.
1. Close the visor on the helmet.
2. Close the head harness on the helmet and store it inside
the helmet.
3. Place the helmet on the mounting plate. Make sure that the
helmet is an adequate and uniform distance from the
edges of the tier. Additionally, no part of the head harness
may hang through the grid.
4. Make sure that the nozzle arms of the tier underneath can
rotate freely.

During operation
NOTICE
If the door monitoring system detects an opened door, the
wash procedure will be immediately interrupted.
1. If present and pressed, unlock the emergency stop button
in the white area.
2. Switch on the main switch and allow the MFC 7000 and the
touchscreen to fully power up.

3. Sign in to the touchscreen.
Touch User name.
Enter User (Admin or Operator).
Enter Password.
Confirm with OK.
After a successful sign-jn, the user's icon
Finally, confirm with OK.
4. Once weekly, the test program must be executed before
carrying out a wash procedure (see chapter 6.1.3).
5. Open the door of the MFC 7000 (for two doors, the black
area).
CAUTION
Risk of injury
► Do not open the locking pin of the full face mask trolley and
combination trolley until immediately before entering the
MFC 7000, and secure it in the open position.
► Always have one person move the trolleys with both
hands on the handles.
6. So that the drum can rotate freely during the wash
procedure, the locking pin must be opened and fixed in the
open position when the full face mask trolley or the
combination trolley is used.
7. When using the full face mask trolley, the
combination trolley or the trolley for SCBA
and helmets, the baffle plate must be
attached to the connection for the air
supply of the MFC 7000.
CAUTION
Risk of injury and equipment damage when driving on the
ramp
For the MFC 7000 with a ramp, the trolley must always be
carefully driveninto or out of the MFC 7000.
► Otherwise the trolley might roll off uncontrollably.
NOTICE
The trolley must be moved into the MFC 7000 in such a way
that the connections on the trolley point to the side with
connections inside the cabin so that the connection to the
cabin interfaces can be easily established.
8. Move the trolley into the MFC 7000 and make sure that the
castors of the trolley are in the recesses of the base plates.
This ensures the exact position of the trolley to achieve the
best washing and cleaning performance.
