Safety-related information
1.1
Basic safety instructions
Before using this product, carefully read the instructions for
use.
Only trained and competent personnel are permitted to
inspect, repair and service the product. Dräger recom-
mends a Dräger service contract for all maintenance activ-
ities and that all repairs are carried out by Dräger.
Strictly follow the instructions for use! The user must fully
understand and strictly observe the instructions. Use the
product only for the purposes specified in the intended use
section of this document.
Do not throw away instructions for use. Ensure proper
storage and use by the user.
Only trained and competent users are permitted to use this
product.
Comply with all local and national rules and regulations
associated with this product.
Only use genuine Dräger spare parts and accessories for
maintenance. Otherwise, there is a risk of the product
functioning incorrectly.
Do not use a faulty or incomplete product. Do not modify
the product.
Notify Dräger in the event of any product faults or failures.
1.2
Product-related safety instructions
During operation, the presence of objects not intended for
processing and persons is prohibited in the MFC 7000.
The trolley must always be moved with all castors on the
ramp (when available) and pushed in and out of the cabin
with care.
The trolley must not be parked on the ramp (when
available) or on sloping ground without being secured.
There is a risk of slipping on the base plates in the cabin
and on the ramp, if used, due to wetness.
After the end of a wash procedure, take care when
touching the wash load and the cabin, and use gloves if
necessary.
Repeated washing of the CPS may cause discoloration.
The functionality of the CPS is not affected by this. Follow
the instructions in the manufacturer's manual for the CPS.

greater attention from the user. A definition of the meaning of
each alert message is as follows:
DANGER
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation. If not avoided, it
will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation. If not avoided, it
could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation. If not avoided, it
could result in physical injury. May also be used as a warning
against improper use.
NOTICE
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation. If not avoided, it
could result in damage to the product or environment.
2.2
Typographic conventions
Text
Text in italics identifies elements of the graphical user
interface (e.g., buttons).
In warning notices, the triangle indicates options for
avoiding the hazard.

The > symbol specifies a navigation path in a menu.
Points and requirements for operating procedures
are labeled with bullet points.
