Operation
There then exists the choice of whether to start a pre-installed
wash procedure or a personalized wash procedure. As soon
as a pre-installed wash procedure is selected, it must then be
decided with which detergent/disinfectant the procedure will be
carried out. This is dependent on the number and loading of
available dosing pumps on the MFC 7000.
Dräger CPS
The MFC 7000 has a Dräger CPS wash
program pre-installed, which can be selected
with the Dräger CPS option.
Dräger masks/
The MFC 7000 has a mask and LDV wash
LDV
program pre-installed, which can be selected
with the Dräger masks/LDV option.
Dräger SCBA The MFC 7000 has a Dräger SCBA wash
program pre-installed, which can be selected
with the Dräger SCBA option.
Dräger
The MFC 7000 has a Dräger helmets wash
helmets
program pre-installed, which can be selected
with the Dräger helmets option.
Miscella-
The pre-installed test program and the
neous items
personalized wash programs are listed under
Miscellaneous items. The wash procedures
can be selected using the circle.
CAUTION
The pre-installed wash procedures have been developed and
tested for Dräger PPE products. If PPE products from other
manufacturers are to be processed with a pre-installed wash
procedure, the approval of the respective PPE manufacturer
for processing in the MFC 7000 must be obtained beforehand.
► The manufacturer does not accept any responsibility for
compatibility with the detergent/disinfectant used, for the
washing result or for any damage that may be caused to
the PPE.

manufacturer cannot accept any responsibility for compatibility

1. If several detergent/disinfectants are available, the appro-
priate detergent/disinfectant for the procedure must be
selected after a pre-installed wash procedure has been
selected.
When personalized wash procedures are selected, the
warning notice must be acknowledged before the wash
procedure can be selected via the tick box
right.
In the following view, the individual wash steps are listed in
detail and general information is displayed. Additionally,
various settings can be made.

If the plant is in the Manual mode and a new wash procedure
is started, the MFC 7000 will switch automatically to the Auto
mode.

The rinse aid is used in the second dosing
step. Depending on the agent and the pump
loading, the rinse aid is displayed as Dosing
detergent 1, 2 or 3. The runtime corresponds to
that of the following rinsing step.
For wash procedures with a CPS frame, it is
possible to select whether the suit pump is
used or not.
Only disable the setting when washing CPS in
which water cannot collect. For example, when
the zipper passes over the head of the CPS
and remains open during the wash procedure.
In this case the suit pump runs dry and wears
excessively.
It is possible to select whether ventilation
should be activated after washing.
The setting can be used if the PPE is not
removed immediately after the procedure
ends. Condensation can form in the interior as
a result of the slow cooling down.
It is possible to set for how long the washed
items will be ventilated after the wash
procedure (in minutes, max. 360 minutes).
