Closing the printer driver

There are two ways to close the printer driver.
Click the OK button in the Main window.

This saves all the changes you made (in all the driver
setup windows) and closes the printer driver.
Click the Cancel button in the Main window.
o
This cancels all the changes you made and closes the printer
driver.

Before Printing for the First Time

Before you try printing with Windows, you should first check to make
sure the driver settings match the document you are going to print.
While many Windows applications override printer driver settings,
some do not. To make sure you get the printing results you want, there
are a few basic printer driver settings you must make no matter what
application software you plan to use.

Making basic printer driver settings

The following are the basic printer driver settings you should make.
These settings should match the requirements of the document you are
going to print.
Paper source—Specify how paper is being fed into the printer

(from a paper tray or manually).
Paper format—Specify the size of the paper to be printed.

Print mode—Specify the print mode, which affects graphics
o
resolution, halftone, and intensity.
Number of copies—Specify the number of copies of the same
o
document that should be printed.
