Delete
Click this button to delete the print mode selected in the Print
Mode list. This button is disabled when the currently selected
print mode name is a permanent one (indicated by an
asterisk), which cannot be deleted.
c Caution:
Clicking the Delete button permanently deletes the
selected print mode. Make sure the print mode name that
you want to delete is correct before clicking this button.

Adding a new print mode to the Print Mode list

Use the following procedure to specify your own graphic
resolution, halftone, and intensity control settings and add them
to the Print Mode list.
1. Open the Print Mode window.
2. Change the current Graphic Resolution, Halftone, or Intensity
Control setting. When the permanent print mode (indicated
by an asterisk) is selected, User Defined automatically appears
in the Print Mode list.
3. After you finish making the settings you want, change User
Defined to the name you want to use for the settings.
Note:
You may leave the settings named User Defined. In this case,
however, any changes you make later in print mode settings will
automatically overwrite what was previously saved under the
name User Defined. Because of this, it is good idea to assign a
unique name to your settings to avoid losing them.
