6.5 Loading cargo during the
tipping procedure
Falling bed
Crushing of body parts
Never enter the space under the
raised bed.
Moving parts
Crushing of body parts
Stay out of the movement area of the
bed.
NOTE
The bed does not have to be tipped
when loading the cargo.
6.5.1
Tipping the bed
NOTE
The bed may only be tipped when the
parking brake is released and the trailer
is coupled (to a towing vehicle with ap-
plied handbrake).
1. Open the eccentric fastener at the
front of the trailer.
2. Open the tailgate or side wall.

3. Remove the split pins and the locking
pins from the pivoting bearings on the
two sides being raised and insert
them into the two other pivoting bear-
ings.
4. For hydraulic pumps with hand
wheels check whether the pressure
relief valve is closed.
5. Tip the bed using the hydraulic pump.
When tipping to the rear, pump until
the lifting cylinder is fully extended or,
when tipping to the side, until the
stopping rope is tensioned so that the
shut-off valve is actuated.
You must stop pumping as soon as
the shut-off valve has been actuated
to the side or the maximum cylinder
stroke to the rear has been reached.
6.5.2
Lowering the bed
1. Open the pressure relief valve or low-
er the bed using the remote control.
2. Insert the locking pin into the two rear
pivoting bearings and secure them
against accidental release with the
split pins.
3. Close the opened walls and secure
against accidental opening.
4. Close the eccentric fastener at the
front of the trailer.
