4.10 Drive-on aids

The following drive-on aids can be used:
– Drive-on ramps
– Loading ramps
4.10.1 Drive-on ramps
NOTE
Use the drive-on ramps solely to load ve-
hicles or construction machinery from
the ground onto the bed.
The following drive-on ramps can be
used:
– Stowable drive-on ramps (A)
– Slide-in drive-on ramps (B)
– Drive-on ramps secured to side wall
(C)
– Drop-down drive-on ramps (D)

Operating Instructions
Risk of crushing injury when remov-
ing and inserting
Only remove the drive-on ramps from
the front area and never enter the
space under the raised bed.
NOTE
The drive-on ramps are set or secured in
the lower bridge so that they have to be
lifted slightly at the front when removed.
The drive-on ramps need to be stowed
away and secured when a machine is
transported.
Attaching the drive-on rails
1. Tip the bed to the rear.
2. Set up the safety support for addition-
al securing of the upper bridge. While
doing so, ensure that the safety sup-
port is in perfect condition.
3. Pull the drive-on ramps towards the
front and remove them.
4. Fold in the safety support.
5. Lower the bed.
6. Open the tailgate.
7. Hook the drive-on ramps with the se-
curing rail into the anti-slip fitting on
the bed.
