1. Lay the breakaway cable over the
trailer coupling.
2. Attach the spring hook to the breaka-
way cable.
3. Pull the loop tight so that the breaka-
way cable cannot bounce off the trail-
er coupling while you drive.

4.5 Jockey wheel

NOTE
The trailer must be equipped with a jock-
ey wheel for nose weights of 50 kg and
higher.
A jockey wheel can be retrofitted.

Incorrectly loaded jockey wheel
The jockey wheel is only intended to pro-
vide support. Do not manoeuvre a load-
ed trailer if the jockey wheel is lowered.
The following jockey wheels can be
used:
– Basic version of jockey wheel (A)
– Automatic jockey wheel basic
version (B)
– Automatic jockey wheel with split
pin (C)

Crank up the jockey wheel
1. Loosen the tommy screw.
2. Raise the jockey wheel using the
hand crank.
3. Fold the wheel in.
4. Push the jockey wheel up as far as
possible and tighten the tommy
screw.
