Some tippers have swinging flaps that
can be opened at the top and at the bot-
tom.
– Open the swinging flap at the bottom
to unload dry bulk cargo.
– Always open the swinging flap at the
top if the vehicle is used in combina-
tion with a box extension or a mesh
extension.
The swinging flap also needs to be
opened at the top to load machines.
Always make sure that the swinging
flap can move freely enough. In par-
ticular, note how far the suspension
will be compressed when the trailer is
loaded. If the spacing from the
ground is too small, the swinging flap
will have to be detached for tipping
and to load machines.

4.12 Loading aids

NOTE
A winch can be used as a loading aid for
loading vehicles and machinery.

winches.
