4.14.1 Operating the hydraulic
pump
Cargo that moves
• Make sure that no people are present
within range of the moving load.
External hydraulic system
Incorrect handling can damage the oil
reservoir or cause hydraulic oil to leak
from the overflow.
• Lower the pumped up upper bridge
only with the pump with which you
pumped it up.
• When using an external hydraulic
system, ensure that the pressure re-
lief valve for the hand pump is always
closed.

Lifting
1. Open the eccentric fastener at the
front of the trailer.
2. Close the pressure relief valve.
3. Take the pump lever out of the brack-
et and insert it into the lever mount.
4. Move the pump lever up and down to
raise the lifting cylinder.
5. Keep pumping until the running sur-
faces at the rear are firmly seated.
6. Take the pump lever out of the lever
mount and secure in the bracket.
Lowering
1. Open the pressure relief valve to re-
lieve the pressure.
2. Ensure that the lifting cylinder is com-
pletely lowered.
3. Close the pressure relief valve.
4. Close the eccentric fastener at the
front of the trailer.
