2 Safety

2.1 Intended use

The trailer is designed to transport goods
in the range of the corresponding gross
weight rating (See section 3
Data, page 17), and is intended to be
used in combination with towing vehicles
whose rear overhang (distance from the
centre of the rear axle to the trailer cou-
pling) is not longer than 160 cm.
If the towing vehicle's rear overhang ex-
ceeds the length of 160 cm, a trailer with
a reinforced frame or a height-adjustable
drawbar must be used.
If you have any questions, contact your
dealer.
Any other use is considered to be im-
proper use. Böckmann accepts no liabil-
ity for damage resulting from improper
use.
The following uses are prohibited:
– Transport of people
– Transport of animals
– Transport of dry bulk goods with a ve-
hicle transporter
– Use of the trailer bed as a lifting de-
vice
– Driving with the bed tipped.
