• Any modifications (eg addition of a piece of cable to the original) could deter-
mine the deterioration of the pump characteristics.
• The electrical connection of the models without plug must be performed by
connecting first the yellow-green to the ground, then the other wires.
• Check that the voltage and frequency of the power line are the same as those
EN shown on the plate of the pump and that the absorption is less than the maxi-
mum current from the system.

8.1 Thermal protection

The pump may be fitted with automatically-resetting thermal protection which
prevents damage in the event of overheating.
Once the pump has cooled own, it restarts automatically.
The models where the thermal protection is independent (electrically discon-
nected from the motor) have the thermal contact conductors marked with a label
specifying the writing "PROTEZIONE TERMICA - THERMAL PROTECTION"
and must be connected to the relevant terminals of the electric panel.
Non-connection of the thermal protection, as well as causing the warranty to
become invalid, may be hazardous.

8.2 Humidity probe
The humidity probe signals water entry into the oil chamber of the mechanical
seals,
The conductor is marked by a label specifying the letter "S" and must be con-
nected to the relevant terminal of the electric panel.
9. WARRANTY
Zenit undertakes to repair or replace the product if failures are due to design,
manufacturing and assembly defects and are reported to Zenit during the war-
ranty period.
The warranty does not cover failures due to:
• normal wear and tear;
• improper handling, installation and use;
• use with incorrectly connected control systems;
• work done by unskilled staff;
• use of non-genuine spare parts.
WARNING Any modifications made to the product without the manufacturer's
authorisation may cause hazards and lead to a deterioration in performance and
loss of warranty cover.
