Installation of a metering monitoring system:
A metering monitoring system – oval gear meter (1) or flow indicator -
has to be installed in the metering pipeline between the pressure relieve
valve and the pressure control resp.metering valve.
7.1.2

Connecting the suction pipe and pressure pipe

When connecting the suction and pressure pipes, ensure that the O-rings are fixed to the
CAUTION
connectors so as to achieve the required seal.
NOTE
The use of an appropriate suction pipe from our product range is recommended.

7.1.2.1 Suction and metering line connection with hose nipple

If the metering line is laid in an inflexible manner, a pulsation attenuator has to be installed

in order to avoid pressure strokes

Cut off hose cleanly.
Place O-ring into groove of suction/pressure valve.
Tighten up hose nipple with union nut.
Push hose clamp over hose. (2 pieces recommended)
Push hose over hose nipple and tighten up hose clamps.

 Cut off tube cleanly and remove burrs.
 Push union nut over tube.
 Weld tube and insertion part together.
 Place O-ring into groove of suction/pressure valve.
 Push union nut over insertion part and tighten it up.
