Every 500 working hours or after 6 times cleaning
Change air cleaner element
Proceed as quoted in "every 100 hours" but discard
the element and replace with a new one.
MACHINE
Daily (Every 8 working hours)
Check coolant level in radiator expansion bottle (B
Fig.38).
Top up if necessary to halfway with 50% antifreeze
solution. NOTE: Do not remove radiator filler cap if
engine is hot.
Check Tyre Pressures
The tyre pressure should be set at 1 kg/cm
Weekly (every 40 working hours)
Battery (A Fig.39)
Check condition of terminals and level of electrolyte
top up if necessary with distilled water.
The battery is situated under the operators
compartment. To gain access open the left hand
door of the operators compartment.
Generally check that all nuts, bolts and hydraulic
fittings are tight and retighten where necessary.
Every 100 working hours
Check Fan Belt tensions
Before carrying out any belt adjustments remove the
starter key to prevent the engine from starting (see
starting notes page 30).
