Caution
Before connecting the electronic cables turn off the
mains switch.
 Insert the monitor connector into the right-hand socket
(item 1) of the embedded PC unit.
 Insert the monitor main connector into the socket
(item 2).
 Insert one end of the connecting lead from the
embedded PC to the electronic control of the wheel
balancer into the left-hand socket of the embedded
PC (item 3), and insert the other end into the socket
close to the main switch.
iv Test procedures.
• Balance a wheel to less than 0.25 oz. (5 grams) per
plane.
• Perform a User Calibration. See Chapter 6.3.1.
v Instructing the operator.
(Following applies only if a unit is installed by a service
Technician)
• Show and explain the Safety Booklet.
• Show the operator how to switch the unit on and off.
• Show the operator how to perform an emergency stop.
• Show the operator how to select a wheel type, enter
data and apply a weight.

Attention
Débrancher l'interrupteur secteur avant d'enficher les
câbles de jonction électronique.
 Enficher le connecteur du moniteur dans la douille
droite (Pos. 1) de l'ensemble de l' Embedded PC.
 Enficher les câbles de jonction électronique du
moniteur, dans la douille (Pos. 2).
 Enficher une extrémité du câble de jonction entre
l'Embedded PC et la commande électronique de
l'équilibreuse dans la douille gauche dudit PC (Pos. 3)
; enficher l'autre extrémité dans la prise en proximité
de l'interrupteur général.
iv Procédures de vérification.
•
Equilibrer une roue à moins de 5 grammes (0.25 oz.)
par plan.
•
Effectuer un calibrage utilisateur, se reporter au
chapitre 6.3.1.
v Formation de l'Opérateur.
(Cela s'applique seulement si la machine est installée
par un technicien de service)
•
Montrer et expliquer le Livret de Sécurité.
•
Expliquer à l'opérateur la façon de mettre en marche
et d'arrêter l'unité.
•
Expliquer la façon d'effectuer un arrêt d'urgence.
•
Expliquer la façon de sélectionner un mode, d'entrer
les données et de placer les masses.
