Mounting the charging station on the wall

ATTENTION!
❐ For the wall bracket, select a dry place near a socket to which the charger can be
connected.
❐ The wall and the mounting material must be capable of bearing the weight of the
charging station and the battery-operated vacuum cleaner.
❐ Make sure that you do not drill into or destroy any lines. Determine where lines
might be running and avoid them.
Two screws with dowels are included in the product contents. You will need a
drilling machine with a 6 mm drill.
1. Two holes are located on the back of the charging station. Measure the distance
between the centres of the holes.
2. Draw two marks at this distance on the wall. Make sure that the marks are hori-
zontally aligned.
3. Drill holes where you made the marks and insert the supplied dowels. Turn the
screws into the dowels, but not all the way. Let the screw heads protrude somewhat.
4. Connect the charger (see section "Connecting the charging station").
5. Hang the charging station on the screws.

Charging the storage battery

ATTENTION!
❐ Risk of short-circuit! Do not insert any conductive objects (e.g. screwdrivers or simi-
lar) into the charging slot of the main unit.
❐ The storage battery can only be charged with the enclosed charger. Do not use the
charger to charge other storage batteries.
❐ Pull the charger's mains plug out of the socket if you do not use it for a prolonged
period of time.
❐ Completely charge the storage battery before fi rst use to reach the maximum
charge. The charging time amounts to approx. 6,5 – 8 hours.
Place the battery-operated vacuum cleaner on the charging station to charge it (see
chapter "Charging station") or only use the charger (without the charging station). Pro-
ceed as follows:
1. First connect the charger to the jack of the main unit and then to a properly installed,
easily accessible socket. The charge control light on the handle of the main unit will
then light up.
2. Charge the storage battery of the device for approx. 6,5 – 8 hours. The power light
will illuminate as long as the device is connected to the power supply.
3. Disconnect the charger from the power supply and then from the device. Stow it in a
place that is not accessible to children.
