Use

ATTENTION!
❐ During use, never hold the nozzles near body parts or animals and do not reach into
them. You could be caught in the vacuum cleaner or injured as a result. If the bat-
tery-operated vacuum cleaner does attach itself when vacuuming, immediately turn
off the device.
❐ Only turn on the device once you are sure that the suction nozzle, the dust bin, the
insert and fi lter have been properly inserted.
❐ Always turn off the device before you attach or remove a nozzle!
❐ Do not in any case vacuum up the following:
– smouldering ashes, cigarette butts, matches etc.
– fl ammable or ignitable materials
– very fi ne dust (e.g. cement dust), ash or toner
– pointy, hard objects such as larger glass shards
❐ Empty and clean the dust bin after every use or once the maximum fi ll level (mark) is
reached during use (see chapter "Cleaning the device and accessories").
❐ Every time after cleaning a surface, switch off the device; this will signifi cantly in-
crease the operating time per charge.
❐ Do not use the device if it is connected to the charger.
1. Attach one of the nozzles to the suction opening. You can, however, also use the
battery-operated vacuum cleaner without a nozzle.
5. After use, empty the dust bin and clean its insert and fi lter regularly (see chapter
"Cleaning the device and accessories"). Also charge the storage battery (see chapter
"Charging the storage battery") or place the device on the charging station that is
connected to the power supply.
6. Store the battery-operated vacuum cleaner in a dry indoor room that is not accessible
for children or animals.
❐ IMPORTANT: If there is liquid in the dust bin, do not overfi ll
it or do not turn the top side of the device down to prevent
water from entering into the rectangular vent in the insert
and ending up in the motor!
2. Push the On/Off switch to switch the device on.
3. Move the nozzle over the surface you want to clean. Dur-
ing use, check whether the maximum fi ll level (mark) in
the dust bin has been reached. If this is the case, it must
be emptied.
4. Push the On/Off switch to turn off the battery-operated
vacuum cleaner.
