❐ Before you do any cleaning and before you remove the dust container, always re-
move the mains plug from the plug socket fi rst.
❐ Never immerse the motor housing in water or other liquids.
❐ Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the
device. These could damage the surface.

Emptying the Dust Container and Cleaning the Filter

The dust container (8) should be emptied at regular intervals to maintain good suction
force. You can look through the transparent housing to see how much dirt has accumu-
lated inside.
1. Hold the hand-held vacuum cleaner vertically, with the suction opening pointing
downwards, over an open rubbish bin.
6. Allow all parts to dry completely in the air before you insert them again.
CAUTION! Do not under any circumstances use a hair dryer. Do not insert
the fi lter under any circumstances if it is still damp!
7. Place the fabric tape around the fi lter and close the Velcro fastener.
8. Place the fi lter back into the dust container so that it sits directly on the housing wall
all the way round.
CAUTION! Never use the vacuum cleaner without the fi lter inserted.
9. First place the dust container at the bottom of the device and then fl ip it shut. The
dust container must be fi rmly locked in place at the top and bottom of the device.
2. Hold down the release button (9) of the dust container and
carefully remove it.
3. Carefully remove the fi lter (5) and empty the dust con-
tainer.
4. A piece of fabric tape is attached around the fi lter. Open
the Velcro fastener of the tape and gently tap out the fi lter
and the tape.
5. Wash the dust container, the fi lter and the fabric tape if
necessary under cold, running water.
CAUTION! Do not wash the fi lter and the fabric
tape in the washing machine.
