Cleaning the Device

CAUTION!
❐ Empty the dust container if it is full, and clean the fi lters on a regular basis to maintain good
performance and prevent overheating of the motor.
❐ Remove the plug fi rst from the mains socket before cleaning the device.
❐ Keep the device, the cable and the plug away from water or other liquids in order to avoid
electric shocks. Make sure that no liquid gets into the device during cleaning. Only the
cyclone insert and the fi lters may be cleaned with water. However, they must be completely
dry before they are put back into the device.
❐ The fi lters are neither machine-washable, dishwasher-safe nor suitable for tumble drying!
Filters must only be air dried and never use a hair dryer to do so.
❐ Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the device. These
could damage the surface.
• At the latest, once the dust container is full up to the MAX marking, it must be emptied.
• Clean the cyclone insert and the fi lters at regular intervals (after every other use) or if
suction power begins to diminish.
• Check the exhaust air fi lter regularly for any dirt and clean it if necessary.
• Clean the housing when necessary using a damp, soft cloth. Dry it with a soft cloth.
• Remove hair and fl uff from the nozzles at regular intervals.
The fi lters may lose some of their colour over time. This is normal and does not have
any adverse effect on function.

8. Once you have used the fl oor nozzle (7), hook it into the
bracket (15) on the back of the device.
9. To ensure optimum performance of the device, you should
empty the dust container and clean the cyclone insert and the
fi lters (see the "Cleaning the Device" chapter) after every use.
