Troubleshooting

Should your device stop working properly at any time, exhibit signs of damage or require a spare
part, please contact customer service. For your own safety, do not attempt to carry out repairs
yourself. The following table contains tips on how you can remedy small problems yourself.
Problem
The device generates
no suction.
The performance is
weak.
Dust escapes from the
device during cleaning.
The mains cable cannot
be fully retracted.
During vacuum
cleaning, an unpleasant
smell is detected.
Possible cause / solution / tips
• Is the plug not inserted in the mains socket correctly?
Insert the plug correctly.
• Is the mains socket defective? Try another mains socket.
• Check the fuse of your mains connection.
• Is the exhaust air valve in the handle open? Close it.
• Is the dust container too full? Empty the container.
• Are the fi lters heavily clogged? Clean them.
• Is the nozzle, the telescopic tube or the suction hose clogged?
Switch off the device, unplug from the mains and remove the
blockage (see also the „Assembly" chapter).
• Is the dust container not closed properly and / or incorrectly
inserted into the device? If so please fi x this.
• The cable was not correctly retracted in the device. Pull it
out again a little bit and then press the
retracting the cable.
• Is the device being used for the fi rst time?
A smell often develops during the fi rst use of new devices.
The smell should disappear after you have used the device
a few times.
• Has the device already been used frequently?
The device is defective. Switch off the device, unplug from the
mains and immediately contact customer service.
