❐ If the device switches off on its own during use, the overheat protection may have
been triggered. Switch the device off and check the accessory nozzle for blockages,
remove them and then let the device cool off for at least 15 minutes before switching
it back on. If the problem cannot be solved this way, please contact customer service.
❐ Never use the device if the dust bin has not been inserted or without the motor and
exhaust air fi lter.
❐ Do not forcefully pull the cable out of the device to the stop point. Do not pull it out any
further than to the red mark. The yellow mark indicates the ideal cord length.
❐ Do not in any case vacuum up the following:
– Liquids or wet substances (e.g. wet carpet shampoo)
– smouldering ashes, cigarette butts, matches etc.
– fl ammable or ignitable materials
– very fi ne dust (e.g. cement dust) or toner
– pointy, hard objects such as larger glass shards.
An auxiliary air valve is located on the handle, which you can use to reduce the
suction power if needed. Open the valve if you want to vacuum off curtains,
carpets or other light-weight, moveable objects or materials. Otherwise keep the
valve closed.
1. Assemble the device and select a suitable nozzle (see the section "Assembly" in the
chapter "Before fi rst use").
2. Pull the cable to the desired length.
3. Insert the mains plug in a properly installed socket that is easily accessible.
4. Push the On/Off switch to turn the vacuum cleaner on. You can pull the vacuum
cleaner like a sled when vacuum cleaning.
5. Use the suction power regulator to set the suction power.
6. Run the accessory nozzle over the surface you intend to clean.
7. Once you are done vacuum cleaning, push the On/Off switch to switch the vacuum
cleaner off.
8. Pull the mains plug out of the socket, fi rmly hold the mains cord and push the button
for winding up the mains cord. By holding the cord, you prevent it from "whiplashing"
against body parts such as your legs.

ATTENTION!
❐ Before you clean the device, always pull the mains plug out of the socket.
❐ Hold the device, cable and mains plug away from water or other liquids to prevent
electrical shocks. When cleaning, make sure that no liquids penetrate the device. You
can only clean the exhaust air fi lter with water. However, it must be completely dry
when inserted in the device.
❐ The exhaust air fi lter is not suitable for cleaning in the washing machine, dishwasher
or dryer! Only air dry the fi lter; do not in any case use a hair dryer.
