Emptying the dust bin

Cleaning the Motor Filter

The motor fi lters are located in the dust bin.
1. Press the release button of the dust bin and pull it up out of the device by the handle.
2. Empty the dust bin as described in the previous section and then close the dust bin
base again.

1. Push the release button on the dust bin and pull it out of
the device by the handle.
2. Hold the dust bin over an open garbage bin. The dust bin
should be as close as possible to the garbage bin so that
dust from the dust bin only falls into the garbage bin and
is not dispersed in the surrounding area.
3. Push the button to open the dust bin. The bottom of the
dust bin will open and the dirt will fall out.
4. Shut the bottom of the dust bin again. The fastener must
audibly lock into place.
5. Insert the dust bin in the device: Take hold of it by the
handle and insert the bottom of the bin in the device fi rst.
Then push the handle against the device housing until the
dust bin audibly locks into place. Hold the device by the
handle and lift it to check whether the dust bin is properly
seated.
3. Open the lid of the dust bin. To do this, turn the lid until the
line mark on the dust bin lines up with the
on the lid. Remove the lid.
4. Pull the cyclone insert out of the dust bin.
5. Hold the cyclone insert and turn the fi lter holder (a) with
the fl eece fi lter in an anti-clockwise direction a little to re-
lease it. Then remove it.
Please note: The fl eece fi lter is attached to the holder and
cannot be taken out of the holder!
6. Remove the foam fi lter (b).
7. Take the cyclone insert apart: Hold it, turn the pipe a little
to release it and pull it out.
8. Tap out all the parts over a dust bin and brush off the
loose dirt.
