Groups and Events Programming

Creating a Group
1. Navigate to the "Groups" menu
2. Use arrow keys to move cursor to group line and press Enter
3. Edit the field when the brackets stop blinking and the word "end" blinks
4. Use up/down arrows to scroll through the list of units connected to the 301C
until the desired address is displayed
5. Press Enter to validate the address
6. The address is added to the group and the <end> bracket is shifted one po-
sition to the right
Creating an Event
1. Navigate to the "Events" menu
2. Use arrow keys to move cursor to events line and press Enter
3. Select:
a) Target (device)
b) Relay (output)
4. Press Enter
5. Define Before and After Delays (if applicable)
6. Define Conditions
a) Number of devices: All, Mean, Max, Min, 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 1 or
+ (1 or more)
b) Value set: =, <=, <, >=, >, != (not equal), max, min
c) Define Group or Transmitter
d) "and" / "or" statement (if applicable)
1. Repeat "a" through "d"
7. Define Coverage period (if applicable)
8. Enable the Event
9. Preform a final test system for proper operation
