CAUTION/ACHTUNG/ATTENTION/ATENCION
Turn off the power switch before installing the needle, otherwise the machine will operate if the treadle is
depressed by mistake, which could result in injury.
* When using a clutch motor, the motor will keep turning even after the power is switched off as a result of
the motor's inertia. Wait until the motor stops fully before starting work.

1. Turn the machine pulley to move the needle bar to its

highest position.
2. Loosen screws q. Insert the needles all the way into
the needle clamp w with the indent to the left, and re-
tighten the screws q.
