5. INSTALACION
• The sewing machine should always be lubricated and the oil supply replenished before it is used for the first time, and also
after long periods of non-use.
• Use only the lubricating oil (Nisseki Sewing Lube 15) specified by Brother.
• Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme oder wenn die Maschine längere Zeit nicht verwendet wurde, muß die Maschine immer
geschmiert und Öl nachgefüllt werden.
• Verwenden Sie nur das von Brother vorgeschriebene Schmieröl (Nisseki Sewing Lube 15).
• ll faut toujours effectuer la lubrification de la machine à coudre et faire le plein d'huile avant d'utiliser la machine pour la
première fois, et aussi lorsque la machine n'a pas été utilisée pendant une longue période.
• Utiliser seulement l'huile de lubrification (Nisseki Sewing Lube 15) recommandée par Brother.

Schmierung
1. Entfernen Sie den Gummistopfen q und füllen Sie mit Hilfe eines Trichters Schmieröl bis zur oberen Bezugslinie (H)
des Sichtglases w ein.
HINWEIS:
Wischen Sie vor dem Abnehmen den Staub um den Gummistopfen q ab. Falls Staub in das Maschinenoberteil
gelangt, können Betriebsstörungen auftreten.
2. Bringen Sie den Gummistopfen q wieder an.
* Falls der Ölstand am Sichtglas w auf die untere Bezugslinie (L) abgefallen ist, muß Schmieröl nachgefüllt werden.
Lubrification
1. Retirer le capuchon en caoutchouc q, puis à l'aide d'un entonnoir, verser de l'huile lubrifiante dans la tête de
machine jusqu'à ce que le niveau d'huile atteigne la ligne de référence supérieure (H) de la jauge d'huile w.
REMARQUE:
Utiliser un chiffon pour éliminer la poussière se trouvant au voisinage du capuchon en caoutchouc q avant de
retirer le capuchon en caoutchouc q. Si de la poussière pénètre dans le plateau, ceci risquera de causer des anoma-
lies de fonctionnement de la machine à coudre.
2. Introduire le capuchon en caoutchouc q.
* Si le niveau d'huile baisse jusqu'à la ligne de référence inférieure (L) dans la jauge d'huile w, ajouter de l'huile
lubrifiante.
Sistema de lubricación
1. Desmontar la tapa de caucho q, y luego usar un embudo para agregar aceite lubricante en la cabeza de la máquina hasta
que el nivel de aceite llegue a la línea de referencia superior (H) del medidor de aceite w.
NOTA:
Usar un trapo para limpiar el polvo de alrededor de la tapa de caucho q antes de quitar la tapa de caucho q. Si entra
polvo en la cama, podría causar problemas cuando funciona la máquina de coser.
2. Insertar la tapa de caucho q.
* Si el nivel de aceite baja de por debajo de la línea de referencia (L) en el medidor de aceite w, agregar más aceite
lubricante.

1. Remove the rubber cap q, and then use a funnel to

NOTE:
Use a cloth to wipe away any dust from around the
rubber cap q before removing the rubber cap q. If
any dust gets inside the bed, it may cause problems
with sewing machine operation.
