10.3.3.2 Setting the pulse interval

10.3.3.3 Setting concentration [%] in the operating level

If the pulse interval setting is ≠ 0 (see chapter
concentration setting is configured / adjusted in the operating level. This can also be done
while the system is in operation.
If a value which lies outside the permitted range (0.1 – 10 %) is selected for the
concentration [%], or if the combination of pulse interval and concentration produces a
metering quantity per stroke of less than 10% of the maximum possible value, the
acceptance of the value is declined.
If the combination of the selected pulse interval, configured concentration and frequency of
the incoming pulses produces a metering quantity per stroke which can no longer be

processed by the pump, the
The alarm output relay operates in switching mode. Should this happen repeatedly, it is
advisable to enable the pulse memory (see chapter
If there are strong fluctuations in time intervals between incoming pulses, there may be
consistent changes in metering frequencies (metering quantities). Automatic metering
quantity adjustment always starts with 100% metering frequency and is then adjusted in line
with the calculated value depending on the intervals between the incoming pulses.

If the value for the pulse interval lies
outside the permitted range (10 ml – 100 l),
acceptance of the value is declined and
the message "Value outside" appears in
the display.
If a pulse interval of "0" is selected, the
input type (and the display) changes in the
operating level from concentration [%] to
ml / pulse (see chapters
