11.1.4.3 Installation

Fig. 11.7
 Insert the front fastening screws (Fig. 11.5, pos. 20) on the top (short) and bottom (long) and
tighten them crosswise (torque of 3 Nm).
 Attach the mains lead (Fig. 11.5, pos. 1).
CAUTION
Tighten the motor fastening nuts after 24 hours in operation. (torque of 12 Nm)!
11.1.5

Replacement of the front panel

 Unplug the mains lead (Fig. 11.5, pos. 1) .
 Loosen the front fastening screws (Fig. 11.5, pos. 20) at the top (short) & bottom (long).
(There is no need to loosen the fastening screws in the middle on the front).
 Remove operating front panel ( Fig. 11.5, pos. 19) with mainboard ( Fig. 11.5, pos. 16).
 Unplug the connector for the front panel/connection line (Fig. 11.5, pos. 13) from the
mainboard.
 Disconnect the on/off switch connection line connector X4 (Fig. 11.5, pos. 17) from the
board.
 Unplug connector X1 (Fig. 11.5, pos. 15) and disconnect connection wires leading to the
level input socket (terminals 1,2,3) (take note of the sequence of colours!)
 If other control inputs are wired to connectors X1, X2 or X3 (see chapter
supply connection"for an overview of terminals), unplug the connectors and disconnect
all the wires (take note of the sequences of terminals!)
 Where necessary, loosen the cable screw fittings on the front panel and remove the
control cables.
 Take hold of the front panel and, if necessary, insert appropriate cable screw fittings.
 If there are any control lines present, guide them through the appropriate cable screw
fittings, tighten the screw fittings and connect the lines to the appropriate terminals.
 Re-establish all plug-in connections.
 Insert the mainboard (Fig. 11.5, pos. 16) and reattach the front panel ( Fig. 11.5, pos. 19).
 Insert the fastening screws (Fig. 11.5, pos. 20) on the top and bottom and tighten them
crosswise (torque of 3 Nm).
 Re-establish mains voltage supply (Fig. 11.5, pos. 1).
11.1.6

Replacement of boards

 As described in chapter 11.1.5, however, also unplug the connector for the motor control
line (pos. 4) and connector for the rotary transducer sensor line (pos. 5) and re-attach

 Turn the motor in a way that the frequency convertor points
forward, in the direction of the front panel. (see Fig. 11.5).
 Place on washers and fastening nuts (Fig 11.5, pos. 7) and tighten
them crosswise (tightening torque of 12 Nm).
 Guide the motor control line (Fig. 11.5, pos. 5) through the cable
screw fitting (Fig. 11.5, pos. 6)
 connect all the wires to the motor control line connector (Fig. 11.5, pos. 21)
following the colour coding (see Fig. 11.7).
