OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
Knife reset device
The knife reset is operated by the mechanisms
shown in figures 10 and 12: whenever the tailgate
opening is controlled, the link rod, re. 1, fig. 12, oper-
ates the lever, re. 2, fig. 12, fastening again the two
catches, re. 1, fig. 10, as shown.
Adjust the spring pressure on the link rod, re. 1, fig.
12, through the nut, re. 5, so that, opening the tail-
gate, the catches, re. 1, fig. 10, engage as described,
paying attention not to compress the spring too much

and keeping a clearance between the catches by 5±2
N
mm, so that they can be coupled.

wrapper and to section, 4 for adjustments and
maintenance.
Access to the twine wrapper with the baler
is fitted with net wrapper - - Fig. 41.
If required, the twine wrapper can be reached by ro-
tating the net wrapper as shown in the figure.
Proceed as follows:
-- remove the net roll.
-- Remove the nut, the spring, the washers and the
shim of the link rod, re. 1.
-- Turn the wrapper holding it suitably.
-- To restore the working conditions, proceed in the
reverse order and remember to adjust the net
knife reset link rod as described in section 4,
page 5.
TWINE THREADING WITH NET WRAPPER
(OPTIONAL)
To check the start and the twine wrapping with fitted
net wrapper, an alternative twine routing is available.

-- Position the twine rolls in the twine--box and link
them reciprocally, in pairs, following the sketch
shown in fig. 8.1, to power the wrappers with two rolls
each.
-- Make the twines come out from the eyelets, re. 1
and enter the eyelets re. 2, as shown in fig. 8.1.
-- The remaining twine path is unchanged, thus the
twines continue their path coming out from the lower
eyelets of the twine--box, re. 4, fig. 4.
BALE EJECTOR
(only forGA FB 12 model)
The bale ejector, re. 1 fig. 14, is an accessory that can
prove useful for an easier bale ejection. It can be as-
sembled quickly and simply.
ATTENTION: open or remove the baler
guards only when the machine is at a stand-
still.
With open tailgate, engage on both sides the safety
device, see fig. 23. Before resuming work, make sure
that all the guards are correctly installed.
-- Open the tailgate, engage the safety device on
both sides, see fig. 23.
-- Position the ejector as shown in fig. 14, fastening
it by the suitable two screws on each side.
WIDE ANGLE UNIVERSAL JOINT
The wide angle universal joint, suitable for small
lands, makes the movement easier during ma-
noeuvres.
OVERSIZED WHEELS
ForGA FB 12 m odel, the wheels 11.5/80- -15 are avail-
able.
For GA FB 12, 12L models, the wheels
15.0/55- -17 are available.
Oversized wheels are especially suitable for working
on soft grounds.
Pick- -up left gauge wheel (only round
balers model GA FB 12).
A steel left gauge wheel is available, to balance the
pick--up on uneven grounds.
