BEFORE RESUMING WORK
A few days before starting the baler operation again,
carry out the routine maintenance and check the
machine efficiency to resume work in perfect
operating conditions.
ATTENTION: only use hoists suitable to
E the machine weight and equipment
suitable to the work to be done.

1. Remove the stands and check the tyre pressure

(including the two pick--up gauge wheels).

2. Check the wheel nut tightening.
3. Assemble the chains again and adjust them as
described in this Operator's Manual.
4. Check the bolt tightening.
5. Lubricate the machine according to the
lubrication instructions.
6. Make sure all the safety guards have been
refitted on the machine.
7. Check that there are no oil leaks from cylinders,
fittings and hydraulic pipes.
8. Check the electrical system conditions, clean
and protect the contacts from possible oxidation
and lay some oxidation--preventing product
inside the sockets.
9. Couple the baler to the tractor complying with the
instructions on page 4 section 2.
10. Open the tailgate, fit the locking device, fig. 23,
(on both sides) and check their operation: the
tailgate shouldn't lower.
11. Remove the locking device, lower the tailgate,
make sure the catches fit correctly in the
fastening pins and that the hydraulic pressure on
the density circuit pressure gauge reaches 120
bar.

12. Install the on--board computer on the tractor and
connect the electrical system as described on
page 6 section 2.
13. Check the twine wrapper operation operating the
manual control switch, after selecting the twine
wrapping mode.
14. Only with optional net binding kit assembled:
make sure the motor for net starting and cutting
control rotate, operating the manual wrapping
control switch, once the net wrapping mode has
been selected.
15. Check the on--board computer operation by the
displaying of all the control segments and the
operation of all keys and switches.
16. Check the lighting system correct operation.
ATTENTION: make the controls of
moving machine always remaining at a
safe distance.
17. Operate the baler at min. speed for a few
minutes, checking that there are no anomalous
noises, such as pinging, metal interference,
rubbing, etc...
18. Check the belt alignment.
19. Increase the speed to 540 rpm, leaving the baler
rotating for about 15 minutes; then, stop the baler
and check the bearing temperature, the belt and
junction clamp conditions.
ATTENTION: get off the tractor only
after having switched the engine off,
engage the parking brake and removed
the starting key from the dashboard.
20. Check the different adjustments and correct, if
necessary.
NOTE: never carry out repair works requiring a
special training.
