TIONS
Hydraulic connections
For the operation of balers GA FB model, the tractor con-
trol valve should have a double--acting element and
a single--acting element. The two pipes connected to
the double--acting element, re. 1 and 2 fig. 19, control
the tailgate opening and closing and pressurize the
density hydraulic system during the tailgate closing
step. The pipe connected to the single--acting ele-

ment, re. 3 fig. 19, controls the pick--up lifting and lo-

wering. The oil flow of the tractor hydraulic pump

must correspond to about 30 l/minute (with PTO at a
L speed of 540 rpm) and a pressure between 130 and
210 bar.

Electrical connections
For the wrapping mechanism operation, the tractor
must a 12 V dc power supply producing a 10--A cur-
rent, without remarkable voltage drops, under load.
Install the on--board computer fastening it in a well vi-
sible and accessible way, fig. 20.
Connect the light blue wire, re. 1 fig. 21, of the main
electrical cable directly to the battery positive pole
and the brown wire, re. 2 fig. 21, to the negative pole.
NOTE: a 20- -A glass fuse is located in the loose fuse- -
holder, re. 3 fig. 21; if it needs replacing, make sure
the value of the new fuse matches.
The tractor must have a power receptacle complying
with the B7 DIN 72577 standard (ISO 1724) to con-
nect the baler lighting equipment: see harness arran-
gement in fig. 22.
L = left direction indicator.

Park the baler on an even ground, sturdy enough to
ensure the supporting foot stability.
In case of uneven grounds or of grounds that do not
ensure the baler stability, use also the suitable wheel
stopping wedges supplied with the baler.
Arrange a suitably wide area to manoeuvre, later on,
the tractor during coupling operations.
With engine off, disconnect the universal joint positio-
ning it in the suitable support.
Remove the electrical connection and, before di-
sconnecting the hydraulic ones, relief pressure from
the system.
Assemble the protection plugs of hydraulic fittings.

The round baler control and drive on--board compu-
ter is an electronic, microprocessor operated system
designed for Gallignani GA FB model round balers.
By suitable keys, the operator can use the round ba-
ler automatically or manually; in addition, the display
signals the different steps during work.
At any time, the operator can stop the wrapping cycle
by the suitable key, re. 6.
A numeric LCD display informs the operator who can
control the following functions by the keyboard:
-- wrapping, both automatic and manual.
-- Twine or net wrapping (if the net wrapping kit is
installed).
-- Modification of the wrapper control motor inter-
vention times.
