Front lower roller control chain - - Fig. 30
Adjust the tension by the tensioner, re. 1, until, apply-
ing a tension by 30±10% Nm, in the shown point,
re. 2, the deflection corresponds to 3÷5 mm.
Rear roller drive chain - - Fig. 29
Adjust the tension by the tensioner, re. 2, so that on
the opposite side, applying a force by 20±10% Nm,
the deflection corresponds to 2÷4 mm.

Turn the eccentric tensioner, re. 1, clockwise, until,

applying a force by 25±10% Nm in the shown point of
the chain, re. 2, a deflection by 3÷5 mm is obtained.

DRIVE CHAIN ADJUSTMENT (baler left
side)
The tension of all chains must be checked after
the first 100 bales and then regularly every 500
bales.
ATTENTION: open or remove the baler
guards only when the machine is at a stan-
dstill.
With open tailgate, engage on both sides the safety
device, see fig. 23. Before resuming work, make sure
that all the guards are correctly installed.
Pick- -up control chain (only GA FB 12L a nd
15L models),
Adjust the tension by the tensioner, re. 2, until, apply-
ing a tension by 30±10% Nm, in the shown point,
re. 3, the deflection corresponds to 3÷5 mm.
Pick- -up transmission control chain (only
FGA FB 12L and 15L models),
Adjust the tension by the tensioner, re. 1, until, apply-
ing a tension by 30±10% Nm, in the shown point,
re. 2, the deflection corresponds to 3÷5 mm.
Right side auger control chain (only GA FB
12L and 15L models),
Turn the eccentric tensioner, re. 3, clockwise, until,
applying a force by 25±10% Nm in the shown point of
the chain, re. 4, a deflection by 3÷5 mm is obtained.

Adjust the tension by the tensioner, re. 1, until, apply-
ing a tension by 30±10% Nm, in the shown point,
re. 2, the deflection corresponds to 3÷5 mm.

TWINE WRAPPER ADJUSTMENT
Twine revolution variator belt adjustment - -

Check that the belt, re. 12, minimum tension adjust-
ment, corresponding to the largest wrapping pitch, is
enough to guarantee the tension of the lower pulley.
If the belt, re. 12, slips, turn the knob, re. 1 -- fig. 25 by
two or three revolutions counterclockwise. This oper-
ation achieves also a narrower wrapping pitch.

The adjustment of the springs, re. 11, is correct when
they are compressed at 50±2 mm.

Regularly check the conditions of the knives, re. 1,
sharpen or replace them if worn.
Twine start control roller pre- -compression

If some wrapper parts are disassembled or replaced,
adjust the link rods, re. 2, by the relevant lock--nuts,
at 25 mm, as shown in the figure.

If some wrapper parts are disassembled or replaced,
adjust the guide rings, re. 3, by the relevant lock--
nuts, in the center of the twine start control rollers,
re. 4.
NET WRAPPER ADJUSTMENT (if fitted)
Net brake - - Fig. 5
The net brake, re. 1, is operated by two springs (one
on the right and one on the left side of the baler), re. 2.
The spring tensions changes according to their
coupling position, re. 3 (there are three possible
positions). The best adjustment is obtained by coupl-
ing them in the intermediate position.
Locator roller adjustment - - Fig. 6
The locator roller pressure on the net wrapping start
control roller, re. 4, is obtained by two springs placed
on the sides, re. 5.
The correct net dragging pressure is obtained by ad-
justing these springs at a length of 100 mm.
The adjustment is obtained by the nuts, re. 6.
Possible controls or adjustments must be made on
both sides.
