TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Inspection steps:
1. Oil level
2. Spark plug
3. Ignition spark gap
4. Spark plug cap
5. Ignition coil (CDI unit/ignition coil) resistance
TIP
9 Remove the following part(s) before troubleshooting.
1) Front cover, rear cover 1/2 and side cover left/right
2) Spark plug
9 Use the following special tool(s) for troubleshooting.
Pocket tester:
YU-03112, 90890-03112
1. Oil level
9 Check the oil level.
Refer to "OIL LEVEL CHECKING" in CHAP-
TER 2.
