5. Install:
9 Clip 1
9 Drive plate 2
TIP
As illustrated below, insert the projection of
drive pawl and the projection of drum sheave
into the groove of drive plate 2, and install
them.
6. Install:
9 Bolt 1
After tightening the bolt, place starter
rope in the cut-out a in the sheave
drum, and wind it counterclockwise four
turns.
TIP
Make a knot b at the end of the starter rope
to prevent the rope from being retracted into
the recoil starter case.
Check to see that the recoil starter operates
normally by pulling the starter rope 1 strong-
ly.
