Return

You should take the following measures before sending the device back to Endress+Hauser, for
example for repair:
• Always enclose a fully-completed "Dangerous Goods Sheet" with the device. Only then can End-
ress+Hauser transport, test or repair a returned device.
• If necessary, include special handling regulations with the returned product, e.g. a safety data-
sheet in accordance with EN 91/155/EEC.
• Remove all signs of fluids. Pay special attention to the grooves for seals and crevices which could
contain residues. This is particularly important if the substance is hazardous to health, e.g. flam-
mable, toxic, caustic, carcinogenic, etc.
Note!
You can find a copy of the "Dangerous Goods Sheet" at the end of this Operating Instructions.
Caution!
• Do not return any devices if you cannot be entirely sure that you have completely removed all
traces of hazardous substances, e.g. any media which have penetrated crevices or diffused
through plastic.
• Costs incurred for waste disposal and injury (burns, etc.) due to inadequate cleaning will be char-
ged to the owner-operator.
