Installation
• The direction of flow is marked on the column.
• 1.8 µm columns (ZORBAX RRHT, ZORBAX RRHD) can only be
operated in the flow direction marked on the column.
• For removable, zero-dead volume column connections Agilent
recommends the use of the InfinityLab Fittings. Choices are:
Maximum
System Pressure
Up to 400 bar
Up to 800 bar
Up to 1300 bar

Additional care must be taken to avoid damage to PEEK or PEEK-lined
columns during installation. Combined compression and rotation may cause
damage, therefore fittings without ferrules such as PEEK Finger-tight Fittings
are not recommended. Fittings should not be overtightened, and should be
swaged to the correct depth to avoid damage.
