Preparing The Appliance For Operation; Operation - Fondue Function - Unold 48746 Notice D'utilisation

CAUTION:
The appliance becomes very hot during operation!
Never open the housing of the appliance. This can result in electric
shock.
The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if
repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties.

PREPARING THE APPLIANCE FOR OPERATION

1. Remove all packaging materials
and any transport safety devices.
2. Check to make sure that all acces-
sories are present.
3. Attach the handle to the glass lid
using the screws provided. To do so,
place the washer on the screw. Now
position the handle and the black
colored ring on the lid and tighten
the handle by turning the screw on
the bottom of the lid.

OPERATION - FONDUE FUNCTION

1. Place the heating base on a suita-
ble level surface.
2. Fill the pot with at least 1.5 liters
of broth. Make sure not to overfill
the pot, so that it does not boil
over. Do not put more than 2 liters
of broth in the pot.
Please do not use grease or oil
for the fondue. The appliance
is suitable only for "Asian-
style" fondue with broth.

4. Clean all parts with a damp cloth, as
described in the chapter "Cleaning
and care".
5. Now connect the power cord.
6. Check to make sure that all parts
are assembled correctly and the
appliance is stable.
7. Connect the appliance via the
power cord to the power supply
(230 V~, 50 Hz).
3. Place the pot on the base.
4. Lay the grill plate on the heating
base. Even if you do not wish to
use the grill function, the grill
plate must be in place to protect
the heating base from splattering
liquids.
5. Now connect the power cord to
the appliance.
